The role

 

Our Brand Strategy Director and inspirational thought leader.

We are now seeking a new team leader to work alongside our Creative Director. You’ll need to be bright, ambitious and passionate and above all have a desire to shape and build something new:

 

  • Comfortable shaping a new business, winning new work and delivering award winning strategy and creative with commercial acumen.
  • Start-up and entrepreneurial mindset – you’ll need to be hands-on and willing to experiment, learn and develop fast to help us build something special.
  • Able to make the most of our world-class expertise in data, technology and CX – alongside the wider teams.
  • Comfortable working in a progressive way – shared collaboration tools, digital/design thinking approach.
  • Building relationships with client and your team to help enable their growth and the success of the team.

Core skills

 

Digital experience will be a strong focus for us within frog, so we’ll need you to work across the technicalities of application, but more importantly strategies for ‘digital first’ businesses.  Ideally you will have experience from respected names in the London agency/consultancy market and some impressive blue-chip client work in your portfolio. We are particularly interested in FS, Consumer Goods and Retail experience, however, the ability to draw parallels from other sectors is valuable.

Alongside this, we’d like to see a solid background across strategic consulting and be comfortable working across and overseeing:

  • Commissioning and analysis of original research and data to uncover the human, brand and category insights to underpin strategy (consumer, business, media, competitive landscape etc.) 
  • Brand strategy including planning and metric setting; identifying brand management priorities  
  • Portfolio strategy and brand architecture (including naming, M&A, migration) 
  • Brand definition (selecting the right elements of brand for the client; being able to articulate and codify purpose, positioning, proposition, etc.) 
  • Brand activation (implementation planning, colleague / customer engagement) 
  • Brand expression development (working closely with creative teams on all elements of brand identity) 
  • Brand experience (translating brand definition and expression across digital and physical interactions) 
  • Communications planning (high level, leading into campaign and content strategy) 
  • Building and managing high performing teams.
  • Confident in pricing and agency commercial acumen and oversight of project management.
