What will you be doing?
This is a leadership role at frog. In this role you are expected to help frog grow its reputation, business and people through Product Management Leadership, Product Management capability development/mentorship, and Business/Account Development.
As Executive Director of Product Management, you’ll bring your unique mix of creativity, technical acumen, and business sense to take products from idea to reality. You will take a human-centered, collaborative approach to delivering products by connecting the skills and know-how of a diverse team to lead the design/delivery of tools that make a serious impact in people’s lives.
frog clients come to us to help them envision, define, and build new business, or to enhance their existing business with new products, services, and experiences. As the Executive Director of Product Management, you will nurture and coach a team of strategists, structure and sell consulting engagements to frog clients, and partner with peers in design, technology, and program management to ensure we deliver high quality work to our clients.
Your people responsibilities include recruiting, mentoring, motivating, and retaining a team of product managers and product management leaders. You will train them in product management techniques and methods, such as product vision, strategy and OKR definition, pricing and market value analysis, product roadmapping, feature prioritization, competitive market analysis, opportunity area identification, Agile product delivery methodologies for design and development, and more. You will nurture product managers in their frog careers, and actively help build an inclusive studio culture that allows your team to do their best work.
You will help expand frog business working closely with our clients to understand their needs, and then define consulting engagement to help them. You will lead pitch meetings where you present all of frog’s capabilities and negotiate program scope and fees. You will be a trusted advisor to a network of client executives and maintain those relationships beyond immediate projects. You will research, publish, and speak in public forum on topics related to frog’s work, such as innovation, product strategy and product delivery trends to drive interest in frog.
You will contribute to program delivery, either as the engagement leader on major programs or by offering insights and best practices to engagement teams. This involves guiding teams of product managers, strategists, designers, technologists, and program managers and critiquing their work to drive high quality output.
You will advocate for product management within frog and support the expansion of the discipline across North America.
